Small-group journeys through the south of Jordan, led by people who actually grew up here. Twelve travellers at most, with the same guide from the first day to the last.
Each route was designed by our founders and has run at least forty times. Groups travel in 4x4s or on foot, never in coaches.
Set departures run from October to May, when the desert is cool enough to walk. Any route can also run privately on your own dates.
Rum village, Burdah arch, a night in camp
Into Petra from the north, over the hills
Dana, Petra, Wadi Rum, then Aqaba

We use two small camps in the south of the protected area, each with eight tents and no generator after 10 pm. On a clear night you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye. Dinner is zarb, lamb and vegetables cooked for three hours in a pit under the sand.
Both camps are run by Zalabia families we have worked with since 2017. Tents have proper beds, blankets for cold nights, and there are hot showers in a shared block.
How we travelEvery trip is led by a Jordanian guide who was raised in the region you're travelling through.
Never more than a dozen travellers, so the desert stays quiet and the pace stays yours.
We pay our Bedouin partners properly and rebook the same families year after year.
One price covers meals, camps, transfers, guiding and park entry, including the Jordan Pass.
“Aymen knew every family we passed in Wadi Rum, and the walk into Petra from Little Petra meant we had the Monastery almost to ourselves at 8 am. Best six days of our year.”Sara and Tom Whitfield, Bristol · South in Full, March 2026
